I am considering going to Gdansk to buy everything from a complete kitchen to parquet flooring since we are going to build new this summer.
The shipping seems to have a good price of 1200-2000 SEK per pallet for door-to-door delivery.
But then my buddy had a thought....
What happens if the delivery "disappears", who is responsible for that?
Should one take out extra insurance against shipping damages or if things disappear?

According to our bank (which provides the loan for the shopping), it is okay to shop abroad if the invoice shows that it's building material.
We will get a Visa Gold from the bank linked to the building credit, or we can shop on invoice and then submit them to the bank.

Has anyone shopped this way and knows how it works? VISA or invoice at e.g. Castorama in Poland.

You can forget the invoice, but VISA cards usually work well even in Poland.
