Hello!

Does anyone know of a good way to transport a stove home from England? The cheapest way I've found so far is to get in the car, drive 800 km to Gothenburg, drive the car onto the ferry, travel to Newcastle, drive to Dorset, put the stove in the trunk, and take the same route back.

There must be a better way, right? Anyone with experience?

Can't the supplier send it to Sweden then, via a freight forwarder (e.g. DHL or DFDS) in the usual way? DFDS has both sea traffic to New Castle and trucking in Sweden, right? Shouldn't they be able to help you?

Hello!

I will immediately check DFDS... I have just sent an email to DHL.

Where is Dorset, I think I can arrange transportation.

Naturally depends on how much of a hurry you are in, but I can probably halve the price compared to your travel plan.

DFDS has no departures from there!
it will probably be quite expensive to let them handle it!
