Hi!
New to the forum and hope I'm posting my question in the right place.
I have a house from -59, in blåbetong. Therefore, I want to take down as much of the interior walls as possible to get rid of the blåbetong and thereby lower the radon levels. In this first phase of the construction, I want to take down a wall that runs perpendicular to the roof trusses to remove a bedroom and fully open up for a dining area.
Unfortunately, I don't have any house plans, but I'll try to sketch something up.
Some rough measurements:
Distance between exterior walls approx. 7.5m.
Approx. 105cc between the roof trusses.
The roof trusses have the dimensions of the lower beam and the uppermost, 53+150mm. (seems to be a joint in the middle)
The timber in the "panels" is, 28x100mm.
Hope the pictures speak for themselves.

Grateful for all input!

Your house has truss rafters that are self-supporting between the outer walls. They should withstand snow loads up to and including snow zone 2.5 with the current span. However, the lower frames that the floor rests on are not designed for anything other than a limited load, usually 50 kg/sqm.

Thank you so much for the input. I have checked and the snow zone in the GBG area, so I have some margin. If you want to be a little extra safe, should you then reinforce the underside of the truss? Maybe place a beam on each side of the truss towards the floor and screw together with the truss's brace or something? Or is this just overkill, so to speak? I would prefer to avoid any "sagging" after fixing the new ceiling :)

I don't think there is any need for reinforcement. You already have good margins.

Thank you very much for the quick response!
Now it's time to wrestle with the electricity tonight :)
