Self-levelling compound on floor chipboard - floor heating pipe rise.
When laying tracked chipboard and routing the underfloor heating pipe, you can simply drill two holes with the power auger where it should come up and go down.
But how do you do it in bathrooms where it needs to be self-leveled?
Or do you have to make narrower holes where you need to bring up the pipe?
Drill at an angle so that it runs nicely directly into the track?

The important thing is that the hole is properly sealed before leveling, as self-leveling compound can seep through even very small holes, resulting in significant amounts leaking down. I got help to level the floor in our bathroom, the seal around one of the underfloor heating pipes gave way, causing the compound to leak down. It then fairly quickly seeped through the gaps in the ceiling panel below (living room) and created a nice pile on the parquet floor, missing the sofa by 10cm.
If you install a tracked floorboard, you don't need to drill; you just need to go up into the track with the hose. Just make sure there are no sharp edges on the underside against the hose. Seal any holes you can see using latex. But if you buy the material from a proper hardware store or online store, installation instructions will come with it, and you just need to follow them. However, you might need a router to work around the floor drain or toilet and at the end if it doesn't align with the pre-made tracks.
PS That thing about holes assumes you are using turning plates, which is also normal practice DS

It's completely fine, but if you're going to do it that way with the right tools, it will probably be more expensive than with turntables. Additionally, make sure that the heat plates are glued and not as tightly as in the film if you are going to float on top.
