Have an outdoor staircase, see image, which is tiled in Spain (never frost). During heavy rains (sometimes several days), the staircase leaks water underneath. Probably the waterproofing was not done correctly. I have heard that the joints can be treated from above with some kind of sealant, and in this way avoid redoing the entire tiling. Does anyone know anything about this?
