Screw or nail down threshold?

Had and HAVE point glued mine, if you want to remove them, you just stick between the wire and "cut" off the glue.

I had and HAVE spot glued mine, if you want them loose, just slide between with wire and "cut" the glue.

You never attach anything to a floating floor. Use double-sided tape or screw between the floors at the threshold. When the floor moves, it will pop out the joints or warp if it's fixed.
