Currently installing foldable Metal band to reinforce the inner corners of my OSB interior walls but having some difficulty finding a good screw that doesn't protrude too much. I've tested three types:
4.5x25 wood screw
3.9x45 drywall screw
4.2x32 construction screw

All of them protrude a bit and I'm wondering how it will turn out when putting the drywall over it. Anyone with experience on this?

It's enough to screw through the drywall, then through the sheet metal, and into the wood. There's no need to screw the metal piece individually.

It's possible to use drywall screws for metal studs.
