Screw for attaching stair railing

Hello. I have ordered 4 aluminum posts for a glass railing I will have by the stairs. The base of the posts has 12mm holes And the thickness of the plate is 10mm I simply wonder where I can find fitting screws that also look somewhat good. The substrate consists of 8mm laminate, and 2 layers of 22mm chipboard I found a picture online that is basically how I would like it. Where can I find these screws?

I would have followed Peter2400's suggestion, looks the best. M6 sounds a bit weak, I would have gone for M8.
