Hello,

I've made it a bit tricky for myself; I'm using angle brackets and mounting screws to attach my studs, but right at one of the studs where the door will hang, I can't fit the angle bracket on the other side to secure it. So I need to screw at an angle right there.

I tried using 6 x 70 universal screws from Clas Ohlson and the wood split, then I tried pre-drilling and the screw went in, but the screw head is sticking out quite a bit...

Which screw should I use? The stud (95 x 45 mm) should support a 44 kg door and the hinges are attached there.

Very grateful!

Nail works well. Pre-drill if necessary and drive them in with a punch at the end.

The sheet material stiffens a lot and the frame collaborates with the rule so that the hinges sit firmly.
