Those of you who've used OSB+gypsum in your interior walls:

How do you screw the gypsum? Always against the stud or is it enough to screw into the OSB? I've been advised that it definitely works to screw into the OSB...

How have you done it?

I used 90 cm gypsum and screwed it into the OSB. Works perfectly!

Screw it directly into the OSB.

Perfect, then I've had it confirmed from multiple sources...Thanks!

I used double plasterboard screws over the studs and single in between.

I just put the OSB in with a few screws, about 6 pieces, then I screwed the gypsum with long screws into the studs. That way you don't have to screw so much.

I set the OSB with a few screws to hold it in place, then the gypsum with longer screws straight through the OSB into the stud behind.

Instead of screwing the first board with some screws, I now use the nail gun. 16 gauge nails - bang, bang, bang. No fussing with screws and driver while holding the board in place. Then screw straight through both boards.

8 Screws into the OSB and through the stud you should screw.
