Hi,

The ceiling battens are spaced 300 mm apart, and I have installed 12x600x2400 mm drywall on the ceiling. I've screwed around the edge of the drywall with 200 mm between the screws. Should I screw in the middle of the drywall too? Is 200 mm between the screws sufficient, or should it be tighter? It will be a lot to fill with spackle.

When screwing near the edge, sometimes the edge has been crushed. Can this be fixed with spackle, or does the whole sheet need to be removed? I intended to have a completely smooth ceiling so the seams between the sheets aren't visible.

Yes, a row of screws in the middle as well.
If the board breaks at the edge, you can put a new screw nearby, where it's still intact. If you're going to plaster the ceiling completely smooth, the damage will disappear under the plaster.
