Sandwich element instead of conventional roof
Currently sketching a new build for me and the wife, considering materials for construction.
We're thinking of a standard 1 1/2 story 8×15m with a vaulted roof. So it's open to the ridge in 2/3 of the house.
I've become interested in SIP and sandwich elements. If I'm planning to have masonry exterior walls, is it worth exploring the possibility of a "SIP roof"?
Is it cost-effective? Does anyone know what the price might be?
The appeal is, of course, the tightness and short assembly time.

I have received a quote of approximately 1400 SEK/sqm excluding VAT.
Looking at something similar.
If you're after costs - I don't think this is a solution.
If you want to achieve low installation cost = yes
If you want to achieve a compact roof (low build height) = yes
It won't mold or "rot" - only time will tell if they are as effective in 50 years...
Personally, I'm looking at a solution from Kingspan https://www.kingspan.com/se/sv-se/produkter/sandwichelement/takpaneler
But I have height limitations for the roof.
Modern insulation (e.g. PIR) is very effective insulation.
But there is even more effective insulation where 60mm corresponds to about 150mm PIR which corresponds to about 300mm Gullfiber
