Hello. I wonder if anyone knows if it is possible to cut cast iron with, for example, an angle grinder or another tool? And if so, how do you grind the cut surface?
I need to cut a solid cast iron "bar" of 6 x 6 cm into two parts.

No problem cutting cast iron with an angle grinder.
How you grind the cut surface depends entirely on the finish you want. You can use a grinding disc on the angle grinder if it's sufficient to do it freehand. Otherwise, you need to mill.
