I have a parquet floor that I want to sand and color. I don't like the traditional "yellow" color. I want it whitewashed, possibly with some lighter gray tint.
What is preferable?
Oil, lacquer or wax?
Can anyone recommend a company in Stockholm that you have hired and where you are satisfied with the result?

Wax and oil need regular maintenance and it is relatively easier to fix surface layer damage.
Varnish does not require maintenance but it is not easy to fix damage in the varnish.

It probably depends on how much the floor is worn, but applying new oil/wax once a year maybe.
