we will have three fireplaces with inserts (possibly replacing one with a stove).
The first insert is on the ground floor, the second 72 cm up on a mezzanine, and the third on the attic level. All are lined up vertically, so they are intended to go into the same chimney.
As I understand, there might be three ways;
1. Masonry chimney
2. Steel modular chimney
3. Stone material modular chimney
Which methods can we use?
Suggestions for manufacturers?
What do the prices look like?
I've seen SEM chimneys, including those by Scheidel with space for two flues, but what if you want three, is that available too?
Or is it smartest to use one with two flues from the fireplaces at the bottom and use a modular chimney with pipes for the fireplace in the attic?
Feels like we have to build for the pipes from the ground floor, not so nice with two visible pipes... Easiest to build around the insert and frame with wood and plaster above? Then apply mesh and plaster?
Grateful for all advice!
