Construction diagram showing layers of wall/ceiling, including gypsum, plywood, glass, insulation, RW membrane, with detailed measurements and labels.
Does anyone know what an RW fabric is (located in wall and ceiling) and where I can find more info about it? I've googled but can't find anything that helps me very much.

Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Considering its position in the construction, it is a vindduk. I see that the same material is used in two places in the construction. It is preferable to have vindduk on the outside of the framework, but on the inside, a denser ångbroms or ångspärr should be used. Google these terms instead, and you'll find more about their function.

Thanks for the help, that's kind of what I thought but it feels strange that the roof also has such an RW fabric and there as well on the inside...

Steam brake or vapor barrier is also installed in the ceiling. This is to prevent humid air from passing through the insulation and then condensing when it reaches the cold side.

Could RW stand for rockwool maybe, they are big on insulation, maybe also wind barriers etc...

Rickard.
Rockwool is not a bad guess, I think. They sell both vapor barriers and windbreaks.

However, I think it's poorly written on the drawing if it's accurate.
