It must work excellently as you intended. I have never strained myself to screw the plasterboard into the studs, it's basically just attached to the OSB board - the walls become as sturdy as a rock. Whether you use 900 or 1200 boards can't be decisive. Just make sure to stagger the joints.

As mentioned, it's perfectly fine to do as you suggested, I have it like that throughout the house 
What I would do differently is also to glue the OSB to the wooden studs. I've only fully screwed OSB+Plasterboard, but why not glue when you're at it!
13 mm plasterboard is what you need!

Isn't the plastic normally between the OSB and the studs? Then you can't glue, right?ByggaNytt said:
