is there anyone who can suggest a suitable special solution for the above?
It concerns the house's second bathroom (which will be completely renovated in a few years), we have an old green IFÖ bathtub with a metal front that I would like to make more accessible so that I can replace the drain filter in the floor drain better and also wipe underneath. Currently, the metal front of the bathtub is both difficult to remove and heavy to handle. My solution is to grind off 15-20 cm of the front at the bottom so that I can reach my hand under the bathtub when needed without any obstacle.
Is there any ready-made solution of a soft strip-type that can be purchased to make the metal edge safe and to cover the cut edge and make the finish of the front a little neater?
I'm thinking of some kind of version of, for example, the type of flexible strip that exists around the opening of a car door or similar.
