My tip is that instead of trying to find one of those caps, buy a tube of gasket replacement available at any well-stocked hardware store.
Something like this. http://loctite.fast.de/se/jpg/5661.jpg
The most important thing is that it withstands heat! The nice thing about that one is that it is flexible, so it can accommodate the expansion of the pipe.
Apply generously and shape it nicely with your finger.

That might be something. I'll take a look at this.kalleboston said:My tip is that instead of trying to find one of those caps, buy a tube of gasket replacement that is available at all well-stocked hardware stores.

Orange motor silicone otherwise withstands high temperatures, but it's probably better to try to get a rubber cap in the right size.
Check with suppliers of chimneys if they have something roughly the right size.
Premodul, which we have, is 150mm and it might stretch to work on 165?
Otherwise, there are certainly other manufacturers that have the right size. Schiedel maybe?

Elda stores have rubber boots, I bought a 150 mm for Contura's smoke pipe myself.J Joukko said:
The older Contura smoke pipes are 168 mm, for them there are rubber boots with a hose clamp. It must fit perfectly for you.
I bought mine at the Elda store in Karlstad. 145kr cheap I think.
