working at peab... we have gone back to gypsum.
I think it has been taken away with cement boards.
it's a real mess mounting on metal studs.
no, use gypsum, we have ALWAYS done it, worked perfectly fine.

it works really badly to mount on sheet metal studs.

You "think" it's been removed?
I would gladly see some form of reference for that, I have been searching around on http://www.bkr.se for a while but haven't found anything to suggest this. The only thing I find is that cardboard-clad gypsum is completely excluded from July 1, 2008 (since the transition period is now over).
yes.
now they also use *näsblodsskivan* a fiber disc too.
it's like plaster.
called that because it sticks in the nose and you bleed. really crap actually.
you must be fully equipped with protective clothing.
Oh, I had to dive deep into the NAS to find the construction pictures. It turned out that I scored the aquapanel on the back and snapped it in sections, as shown in one of the pictures. Then I plastered the wall round and left the rest to the tiler who fixed the waterproofing and tiling. The outside was clad with double 6 mm renovation plasterboard that I glued together.
Yes, this whole project with the semicircle has been a project that has taken time. It's much easier to build with angles. But definitely worth it because it catches the eye. This half-rounding that you see from the living room sparks the curiosity of guests visiting the cabin for the first time. "What's behind there?".
And yes, that base... I haven't done it yet
