I am going to buy materials for my roof - underlayment paper, battens, and concrete tiles. I checked some time ago and I think I found a good package deal online, but now I can't find it again ??? Does anyone know what I might have seen or have any other good price tips? I'm thinking of a treated double-curved concrete tile like Benders or Jönåker (preferably a large/common brand) and paper YAP 2200 like Icopal Macoflex. Battens 25x25 and 25x38. I've received a price proposal from the local builder at 133 SEK/sqm (I need 182 sqm) - is that good?
I was just planning to throw away the old concrete tiles... or do you think there's anyone who would want them in exchange for taking them down? Where could I advertise if so? If I’m going to throw them away - where can I rent a container cheapest?
Phew... just one more question: Where can I rent a good conveyor belt to lift/lower the tiles?
Super grateful for all the answers

always someone who takes them down for free if they get them...
Then you don't need a conveyor belt to get them down, it's enough to nail together two thick planks and slide them down...
then ask for a crane at the delivery of new ones so you can place them directly in piles on the roof ///
Do you have any other calculations? Do you know how much a builder wants to charge for replacing when you instead go to Mallorca?
Yes, somewhat. I've received a quote for 68,000 myself, and I have friends who have had it done for a similar price.
I expect to spend at most half of that on materials, container, machine rentals, etc. - not counting my and my family/friends' labor, of course!
But if I do it myself, I can afford to relax in Mallorca afterwards ;D
And then it's a bit fun, of course! Plus, I actually think I do a better job... for example, I saw that the neighbors with the same roof pitch who outsourced it got 15 rows of tiles, but according to my calculations, you should have 19 or 20 (currently have 14 and that's far too few).
