Hello, I recently bought a house with an attached garage, and the drawing represents the upper floor.

As you can see, the existing interior height on the upper floor is 2050mm, which is on the low side for furnishing and using for everyday purposes. What possibilities do you think there are to raise the ceiling height (preferably to 2400mm, but 2200mm is also acceptable) by moving up the collar beam?

Is the procedure similar to my sketch - more or less? Or do the upper and lower frames also need to be reinforced in such a case?

On the lower floor, there is an I-beam running through the middle of the garage - so I have planned to offload 2 trusses at a time with a jack and rebuild them provided it is feasible.

I will consult a constructor in that case to get exact calculations but thought I'd get an initial assessment here.
