I'm planning to build a sloped roof over the deck terrace on the gable end of the house. However, the walls are made of rendered lightweight concrete, and since I tend to over-engineer by nature, I'm planning to attach the beam to the house with threaded rods (10mm) and chemical anchors - spaced at 60 cm centers.
The dimensions of the roof will be 7.5 meters wide and 4.3 meters deep.
Can I rely on such an attachment in snow zone 3.0?
Do you have any other solutions?
PS. Just heard on the radio that we in Östersund won the sunshine league! (Maybe I should skip the roof =))
