I have an old sturdy hammock with an iron frame, which stands out in the open. A few years ago, I sewed a new roof from a heavier plastic fabric, and it turned out pretty well, but it only lasted a few years. Now I got the idea to try to mount a plastic roof. It would require 2 sheets, 2.5 meters long. This way, the hammock might be able to stay outside all winter. Has anyone done something similar? All opinions are welcome.
