I hope someone can help me with a construction question. I'm about to build an octagonal gazebo that will be 15m2 and about 3.1 in ridge height.
The dimensions of the gazebo will be as per the image below.
My question is: will 120x45 beams be sufficient as rafters? The plan is to install a sedum roof.
I'm considering adding extra rafters between those that will be located at the "corners" of the gazebo.
The intended roof pitch is 22.5 degrees but I'd like to have it a bit lower if the roof can handle the load.
