After the annual cleaning of the patio with a pressure washer, we discovered that water was dripping from the seam between the wall and the ceiling, roughly directly under the patio door. Otherwise, there is horizontal paneling a few decimeters below the patio, but I realized that under the door there is only an unprotected joist, so I suspect that’s where it’s been leaking down. I suppose there should have been a sheet there for protection? I’m a bit unsure about the construction, but with a poured foundation and how to attach the wooden framework above, is there a risk of water damage? I'm thinking that in the floor that lies inside, there is also insulation. However, I don't know how far in it lies. The door does have a frame, so there should be some gap. Grateful for thoughts, similar experiences, and so on.
