Hello everyone,
We have an overhead shower in our bathroom (which was built by the previous owner of our 70s villa) where the upper mounting has come loose (see pictures), and I now need to reattach it. It looks like it was attached with some kind of hardened substance, but it's unclear exactly what.
Any tips? How should I do it? My idea is to use a regular plug, spray in silicone, and then screw it back in. What do you think about that? Planning to do this today so we can take a shower later.
Best regards

Thanks for the reply Patzie!
I don't know how it looks behind, so I'm not sure if I dare to drill further in.
The plugs (the ones that match in thickness) seem to be too long for the hole - can I cut the outer part of the plug, or do I need to buy one that fits better?
