Hello, I am planning to replace the wooden cladding that is damaged with fiber cement boards on parts of the house. The house is mostly made of prefabricated concrete elements, but in some areas (under windows), there is wooden cladding.

I have removed the wooden cladding and seen that it consists of a chipboard on the inside, then battens and insulation windbreak, and then the outer cladding.

So the question is, if I just replace the wooden cladding with fiber cement boards, will it create the same problem as with the single-layer sealed facades? How would you proceed?

Hi,
I was wondering about the fiber cement boards, how did it go with them?
Best regards

It has gone well. Looks like when I put them up.
