I have white laminated MDF, and I would like to conceal some screw holes in it. What should I use for best results? I'm well aware that MDF is a tricky material, so it doesn’t need to be perfectly repaired; I mostly want to minimize the risk of the surface layer peeling further from the holes.

Hot glue? Acrylic caulk? The holes are not in very visible locations.

If there's white hot melt glue, then why not. White silicone probably has a bit of the same glossy surface, so it might also work as "concealment."

I assumed that it would be possible to find white hot glue, but now that I'm looking, everything seems to become more or less translucent after it has hardened.
Maybe I'll have to walk over to the hardware store and see what they have in stock.

MDF is a really great material. Wood glue/putty/paint is what I would use.

I don't know, I've tried to repair holes before and I never think it turns out quite right. Maybe I'm a bit overly meticulous.

became now at least workable epoxy. surely overkill but fun to try.
