After a large tree fell on the stable roof, it needs to be repaired and at the same time the old roof tiles are being replaced with metal sheets. Under the tiles, there is a "pärttak" (uncertain of the name) i.e., thin overlapping boards. To make it as good and affordable as possible, how should one proceed? Should one lay battens on top of the pärttak and let it remain, or is some other form of condensation protection needed above? There is no insulation underneath and there is good circulation throughout the building. My idea was just to remove the tiles, replace what's bad, and lay battens and the metal sheet on top. How/what should be done where the under-roof is missing, will condensation cause problems if there is no under-roof?
Is it the incoming electricity you have that comes there ???? Or is it perhaps disconnected?
It is incoming electricity, but not the three you see in the picture because they are disconnected, but 2 that are further to the right in the picture, similar and fed from a pole with a fuse box....(the fuse is unscrewed ) it's not me living there, but the owner of the farm has tried to get Vattenfall to come and bury the cables since the main house and the other barn are fed the same way
