Hello,
we have an ugly 4 cm long gouge in a galvanized, painted window sill. The metal has been bent in there - imagine the damage of hitting the metal with the sharp side of a crowbar, that's about what it looks like. Unsure if the hole goes all the way through.
We are thinking of repainting the window sills with metal paint, but can one use something durable to fill in the gouge before painting over? Latex caulk is for indoor use, and it doesn't seem quite compatible with metal either.
So what do you do??
