In the house, I have quite a few wall panels made of particle board since a long time ago. Some walls I cover with gypsum board. But in some places, I keep the particle board as the outermost layer. Often because I don't want to break up site-painted moldings, etc.

But it cracks in the joints between the boards. I've tested a few different methods. Among other things, gluing strips with adhesive, etc. But they crack as well. But what about renovation wallpaper? It's quite thick and seems to be strong. Do you think it would fix the joints between the boards? Maybe not the corners, I mean. But the flat joints?

If you buy one with fiberglass in it, it holds. For example, this one: https://www.durosweden.se/renoveringstapeter/easy-cover-1-rlr. It absorbs quite a bit of paint though.

That was a good tip. Gypsum board on a roll, kind of. Thank you.

They are rigid, so it doesn't work to bend in, or around corners.

That fiberglass-reinforced renovation wallpaper linked to earlier in the thread. Do you think it works to glue it directly onto OSB? Is it possible to achieve an okay wall surface that way?
