How should the boards be attached to the wall? How do you get the screw in if you are going to screw them in? How do you get the edges at the right level (with the next board) if you are going to glue them? (problematic if the wall is not completely straight). Thanks in advance!

To make the seams even, simply press them in equally. There have, among other things, been articles about this in do it yourself/DIY.
