Is there anyone who has any tips on how I should proceed? I am about to renovate a basement room that was flooded at the end of May 21 (approximately 2 cm of water on the floor for about 2 hours). The basement has had a dehumidifier running for a long time, and I think it's dry now. Exterior walls are of blåbetong (Ytong house from 1962). The outside recently has been drained with Pordrän panels, 2 layers. Inside, there are approximately 5 cm thick reeds (appear to be coated with concrete) with 1 cm plaster. On top of this are 5 mm renovation gypsum (glued). Now to the question: I've drilled several holes to the concrete wall and sawed out a section 50x50 to check for mold/moisture. I can see there are some black spots on the reeds and can detect a faint "basement" smell in the holes (otherwise very little/no smell in the basement spaces). Checking with a moisture meter Trotec T660, I have a value high up on the wall of 10.8 (on the outside of the gypsum) and near the floor about 120 (on the inside of the exterior wall), which would correspond to 4-6.5% humidity if I interpreted the table in the manual correctly.? Should I tear down the reeds and rebuild the wall, or leave it as it is? If tearing down, what should replace the reed boards? The "inner walls" only have lightweight concrete/plaster with 5 mm renovation gypsum (about 35-60 on the moisture meter). There is no visible impact of moisture on the walls. (The floor has tiles, 60-70 on the meter). Best regards, Sven

I will renovate a basement room that was flooded at the end of May '21. (About 2cm of water on the floor for about 2 hours)
The basement has had a dehumidifier running for a long time, and I consider it dry now.
Outer walls made of blue concrete (Ytong house from 1962)
Exterior newly drained with Pordrän panels 2 layers
Interior about 5cm thick reed boards (look like coated with concrete) 1cm plaster
On top of this 5 mm renovation plasterboard (glued)
Now to the question:
I have drilled a number of holes into the concrete wall and sawed a section 50x50 to
Check for mold/moisture
I can see some black spots on the reeds and can smell a faint "basement" odor in the holes (Otherwise very little/no smell in the basement spaces)
When checked with a moisture meter Trotec T660, I have a reading
High up on the wall of 10.8 (outside the plasterboard) and down at the floor level about 120 (inside the outer wall) which would correspond to 4-6.5% in moisture content if I interpreted the table in the manual correctly.?
Should I remove the reeds and rebuild the wall anew, or leave it as it is?
What do you replace the reed boards with upon removal?
The "inner walls" are just lightweight concrete/plaster with 5mm renovation plasterboard (about 35-60 on the moisture meter)
There is no visible mold damage on the walls.
(Tile laid on the floor, 60-70 on the meter)
Sincerely //Sven
Where did you find the table? I would like to know how much this is in %
I have received these readings and the moisture technician says it is dry. I find them a bit high...
