Hi.
I'm renovating the hallway in my condominium.
If I had known a bit more, I would never have touched the ceiling, which turned out to be coated with lime plaster.
I have scraped down everything that was superficial and sanded some, but not everything is down.
How about Gypsum plaster? Can it be applied directly? To add, I have sanded so some small spots here and there are bare concrete. I've also tried patching with fine filler.
It doesn't matter if the surface becomes smooth or rough as it was originally.

I would appreciate advice.
I've considered putting up a new ceiling, but then the fuse box is in a tricky spot, so whatever I do, it's going to be a hassle.

Regards, Putte
