Hello,
I am a new owner of a 1920s villa, and one of my first projects was to tear out a homemade closet that was permanently attached to the wall and ceiling. The closet was fastened with studs to the ceiling and walls, and when they were removed from the ceiling, some of the ceiling came down with it, see the pictures.
After reading a bit here on the forum, I have understood that this type of ceiling is called "kloasong" and that the technique is called "revetering," meaning that it is built with reed mats for the lime mortar to adhere to.
My question now is how to best/easiest repair these holes. The rest of the ceiling is in good condition without cracks. The entire ceiling will then be painted. I have bought Cascos Husfix, could that work?
