Hello

We are going to renovate the kitchen. Currently, there is a wood stove, of the brand Husqvarna, there. It has an enamel top. The enamel looks ugly. I wonder if you can buy a new top? I also wonder if you have to make modifications to the chimney if you're switching to a smaller wood stove. Or if it's just a matter of removing the stove and installing the new one.

Old Husqvarnas are usually not too difficult to find spare parts for. Check with a stove shop nearby and they can help you.
If you switch to a new stove, you might have to do some masonry work, move the connection piece, and do some masonry/plastering on the sides if the new stove is smaller. It's not a tricky job, just make sure the connection is tight so the chimney sweep doesn't have anything to complain about.
