Hello!

We are interested in buying a house built by LB-hus in 2007. The house has a plastered facade of the Serpo Fasadsystem EF type from Maxit, which is a plaster on danogips / kanuf aquapanel with serposol EF (taken from the inspection report).

What are your experiences with this construction method? High risk of moisture or other problems?

I can't figure out if it's a two-layer or single-layer house. Was this what Myresjöhus used many years ago that caused so many problems?

I will of course speak with the inspector but have not been able to reach him yet.

Thank you for all the help in advance.

The lb houses I have experienced have all been constructed in the same way, at least since 07 when "yours" was built...... Aqua panel (cement-based board) on sparse paneling and plaster on top of that.. so not a single-layer sealed facade, completely ventilated behind the plaster.

Ok! This should mean a reduced risk of moisture compared to single-layer sealing. Good! Aquapanel is supposed to be an inorganic material as I understand, and according to the inspection report, there should be an air gap.

Anyone else with experience of similar houses?
