Since it is a concrete beam you have, it needs to be supported in the middle as someone has calculated.

If you want to relieve it, you must place another beam under it that takes the load from the entire beam and then transfer it down with posts on the outside as you intended. You lose ceiling height.

The alternative is to shore up the sides and remove the entire beam and put in a new one in iron or wood and transfer it down at the walls.
 
By shoring up the sides do you mean relieving the roof? Then break away the old beam, put in a new steel beam and new supports at the ends of the beam?
 
What size I-beam do I need to ensure safety?
 
You need to consult a konstruktör before you tackle that. It costs money, but it costs much more if you make a mistake.

have you checked with the konstruktör?
it might be difficult with the demolition of the column. a lot of weight might rest there. what does it look like in the rooms above?
drawings would have helped
 
There is nothing load-bearing in the room above and I have the drawing, but I'm not sure what to scan in.

the layout on the bearing layer. either they are full length (=no joint) or short (=joint)
