This applies legally in most cases but only in consumer contracts, i.e., the customer is a private individual.

This is regulated by the Consumer Services Act (1985:716):

"Section 4 The trader shall perform the service professionally. He shall also with due care safeguard the consumer's interests and consult with them as far as needed and possible.

Unless otherwise agreed, the service includes that the trader shall provide the necessary material."

Then there is the concept of professionalism which is the interpretation here. We're talking about a general term and what is generally considered standard practice in the industry. AMA has a very strong position in the industry and will generally be accepted as a reference to what is considered professionally executed. Also, the manufacturer's instructions are considered professionally executed since the manufacturer of the products specifies how they should be installed/used.
When buying from an unknown source, it feels like you want some guarantee that the attractive surfaces are not just "eye candy."
For example, photos, work order + invoice for the job.

Thank you for your reply, really. I got a bit worried when no one even answers. That it's taboo to ask about. I guess it is.

There are many here who ask about hidden defects and many who build themselves, but AMA is not something people want to discuss.

Maybe a new term real estate agents should add to their questionnaire, perhaps, that renovations are carried out according to AMA. Now they ask for "professionally" executed work, which some mistakenly assume means when they hire a company and use ROT deductions.
Who wants to buy a cosmetically "newly renovated" house if all the fresh, expensive surfaces are laid wrong so you have to redo everything, which is costly? Or get problems with hidden defects when selling?
Not me. I'd rather buy unrenovated :)
According to the Consumer Services Act, all work for consumers must be professionally executed.

Is anyone holding a digital copy of the latest AMA by any chance?

Not me anyway. I guess it's AMA HUS you're looking for then? There are more, e.g. AMA anläggning, AMA El etc.
