It's time to convert the attic into a furnished room and the rafters are currently regular trusses, so I would need to modify them,
this is how it looks now:
Construction before/after:
4 rafters need to be modified,
Do I need an engineer to calculate a lot or does this solution work if I use sturdy timber?
Grateful for quick responses, needs to be fixed urgently, if a constructor is needed, can someone recommend a good one?

I can only agree. That must be calculated so you don't end up unfortunately late ...

Okay, thanks for the answers, I have been in contact with a designer but nothing is happening at all, I've been waiting for 2 months and it's starting to be time for this step now... Anyone who can recommend a designer who can handle this?
