Having issues behind the TV. Moved various outlets a bit up on the wall to hide them behind the TV. But as usual, I didn't think it all the way through; it's not easy to mount a wall bracket for the TV. I have to adapt it to the existing outlets, making it difficult to center it on the wall, etc.

Therefore, I'm considering if I can redo/do it right with a "recessed shelf in the wall" where the outlets/connections sit in the "recess." Essentially, turning the boxes in the picture so they face "inward" toward each other instead.

If anyone understands my intention and has suggestions, I would gratefully appreciate comments.

The wall in question was completed three years ago, but now it's time for a newer/thinner TV, so a possible change is relevant.
Wall with exposed outlet sockets and wiring, planned for TV mounting adjustments.
