I have been assigned the task of raising the children's fence at the preschool. It is supposed to protect against children running in from a slope and into a slide or similar.
What we have today is evidently too low and needs to be raised about 30 cm.
What's the easiest way to do this? Can I splice onto the existing posts? It feels like a lot of work to dig them all out of the tightly packed soil. The dimension of the posts is 70x70 mm.

A red slide and a wooden fence on a playground, bordered by grassy slopes. The fence requires height extension for safety reasons.
