Hello,

We are going to replace the fabric-covered ceiling and put up Huntonit-type panels.
The ceiling is about 7 m long and 4 m wide.
Interior wall on one side and exterior window on the other side.
In which direction should we put up the panels?
How do you make the joints neat in the corners, since the ceiling is not completely flat as you can see in the picture?

The principle is that visible joints should be at a right angle to the window wall to avoid unwanted shadows. In the roof folds, the panels must be joined with a beveled angle. I have no personal experience with this material, but it doesn't feel like an optimal choice given the roof shape.

If this is not optimal, what do you recommend then?

You can do as @Stuff suggests in the previous post, but I think you should avoid moldings on the actual roof surface. What does the substrate in the ceiling look like? It seems like you've got some kind of breakthrough at the rafters.

It is plaster with a frame of råspont where the woven ceiling is attached. What you see through are some extra råspont.
