Hello!

We won't have insulation; instead, we'll have bare walls, and the floor will have tiles throughout the house. That's how we want it. It's a concrete slab, and the walls are hollow bricks with concrete and then plaster as I understand it.

Now to my questions.
1. We want to make the area around the windows look nice and touch up the edges. What kind of filler should we use for that?

2. What should we use to fill in the holes in the walls?

3. There are open grooves on the side where the floor meets the wall, as well as 2 other grooves that run straight through the room. What should we use to fill them in?

/Inexperienced but happy to take all tips and advice we can get

  • A room under renovation with bare concrete walls, exposed wires, and wooden window frames. Construction materials and tools are scattered on the floor.
  • Renovation project with two windows, unfinished concrete floor, cracked walls, exposed cords, and unpacked construction tools on the windowsill.
  • Cracked wall and concrete floor with tools and cracks near a window, showing a construction site setup and renovation project context.
  • Concrete floor and wall corner with visible gap and rough surfaces, showing construction details needing patching and sealing for a renovation project.
  • Under construction room with exposed concrete walls, two windows, visible cables, and debris on the floor. The walls appear unfinished and need repair.
Is there any reason why you shouldn't have any insulation? Is there a particular heating system?
