How does the quality actually differ between cheap and expensive tiles? Consider, for example, Byggmax 50 SEK/sqm vs. 150-200 SEK/sqm vs. something more luxurious for 500 SEK+ at one of the tile stores.

Is it the durability that differs? Should you be cautious with cheaper tiles in, for example, a garage?

I don't really have any experience with cheap tiles, but when it comes to tiles, the glazing and the material are often a bit thinner. I would guess the same applies to tiles.

Cheaper variants often have more small defects and not completely straight edges. They are also sometimes not horizontal, so to speak. This can mean that some corners stick up a bit, and are therefore more likely to break. Especially in a garage.

So I would probably stick to something mid-range. :)

Difference between tiles and tiles, how hard they are fired and thickness, in a garage you should have hard fired ones, in winter you have studs, during installation it must be full of adhesive underneath otherwise they can crack when the car comes in
