I have a question that 99% of you will probably find super simple. I'm not very handy, so I appreciate recommendations.
I'm trying to hang a mirror at home in the apartment and I've run into some problems with it not staying up. I'm using regular picture hooks for concrete, but the mirror, which weighs about 7kg, falls off.
See the picture below of the hook, and another picture of the result on the wall.
Does anyone have a recommendation on how I can do this, and what type of hook I should purchase?
if you have concrete walls, you need to drill, insert a plug, and a hook in the plug. if you have someone who can drill for you, we can suggest plugs and hooks
You probably have plaster with concrete or brick behind.
Use plugs for concrete or universal plugs, an L-hook will probably be perfect.
You can also use a regular screw and hang on the screw head if you only have plugs and regular screws.
Looks like Ikea's cheap hooks. If you're going to use these hooks, buy quality. There are hooks where the three nails are made of angled metal that provide significantly better support.
