Forum, experts!
We want to create two bedrooms in our current large one upstairs.
The villa is built in '29 with a wooden facade.
Option 1 is of course to apply for a building permit for two windows, which in itself takes an eternity in Stockholm city, and then work quite a lot on the facade and make openings for two new windows and close up the old one.

Option 2, to save time and especially some money, is to place the partition wall in the window. Can this be done in a reasonable way? Has anyone here done something similar and can advise on dimensions that the partition wall could have in terms of thickness and studs/sheet material?
The window is about 120x130, divided into two parts and opens outwards. (see pictures below)

I visited a house in the area where this was done once upon a time (see pictures below) and I think it looks okay. One of the rooms we create also has a balcony door, the other room has a skylight so there's more light today, but the dimensions of the future rooms make it so we don't want to place the existing window in one room or the other.

Gratefully accepting tips!

View from a two-part outward-opening window with curtains and houseplants on the sill; outside, green trees and red-roofed houses under a cloudy sky. Tape measure showing width of a white wooden window frame with metal latches, measuring approximately 6 cm. Close-up of a double window with a measuring tape across the frame, showing 120 cm width. Trees and red roof in the background. Corner of a room with a wooden chair, striped cushion, radiator, and window; a potted plant and wall poster are also visible. A two-part outward-opening window in a wood-paneled wall, potential site for a partition in a 1929 villa renovation project.
