Purple facade material

I have signed up for a BR in a new development.

This property, like most others in new development, has very purple facades during a transitional period, which are then covered with brick or other surface materials.

I assume it is some form of insulation, two-step facade, or something else?

But why are they purple in color?? Does anyone know?

Logical but quite ugly.......
