Hello!

I have a dilemma and need advice on whether it's worth starting a project that could cost me a lot of money (and time). I have a house that I've owned for a few years, and where the previous owner, an elderly man, passed away. The house has a guest apartment built above a garage and laundry room. When I opened up the ceiling to the laundry room, I found that the previous owner used pressure-treated wood as beams in that section. Why? No idea, but these support the floor of a bedroom in the apartment above. The beams are fresh since he mentioned renovation in 2019. The beams have OSB boards mounted on them, then particle boards, and then parquet. So it's quite a "thick" floor, and all of this is only a few years old. My questions are...

1) How dangerous are these beams for health where they are? Should I replace them?
2) Is pressure-treated wood always dangerous or only under certain conditions?
3) What do you recommend I do?

Grateful for advice.
